Ms. Jackson, We are so pleased to see your level headed representation on the School Board. It appears you're in quite a hot seat, and you've handled it well! It has been great to see you out in the community! You obviously have a real passion for education. I follow your facebook and it's amazing how much support you lend your students! Thank you for all that you are doing to help the students of the Fort Worth ISD!

I was at first skeptical of you and your campaign. It seemed too"glitzy" and you were to honest to be real. I've watched your voting and I can see you are truly voting for what is best for these students! Thank you for staying true to your campaign statements!

We attended your beautiful reception at Grace! The "straight shooter" approach is refreshing. We are eagerly awaiting the MUCH NEEDED changes in the FWISD! Our support of you is heartfelt and we look forward to seeing you DRIVE HOME big changes in the coming months. We see you are for education and it is obvious from your description of your work with AT RISK students. We appreciate you!

Seeing wonderful things happening in THE FWISD, with a heavy emphasis on EAST Fort Worth. Thanks for assisting in securing additional funding for many of our schools. They will be beautiful for this Fall's NEW START! Thank You....

Jackson, we met over in Ryanwood after the homeowners meeting. Congratulations. You won quite a few votes that evening. Of course, the company you keep, certainly doesn't hurt you. We appreciate Becky and Danny over here in Ryanwood. I imagine, we'll feel the same about you. Thanks for taking this on. Good luck.

You are always up to something in this neighborhood, saving the trees, building a park, delivering the newsletter, or out picking up trash at the school and park! I am so glad to have a REAL PERSON, with REALITY baseD thoughts running. We're going to win! I feel it!

I truly did not want to vote for you, Ms. Jackson. Your literature and calls were over the top and frankly I was annoyed on a multitude of levels. When you knocked on my door today, I was unkind initially, however, as we spoke, and you explained the Why behind the What, my wife and I understood. You are the REAL THING and in this day and age, it's rare! As my wife said, stay true to your beliefs and let us keep you grounded. Thank you for giving of your time. Tell your little girl, we appreciate her patience today, as you spent close to 30 minutes with us.

I was so impressed with your energy, enthusiasm, ideas, and POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Not once did you mention your opponent, but, instead rattled off solutions rapidly. You are what we need! Please stay true to who you are, and let your voting public keep you grounded. I know you said this has been a fast ride and you're tired, but, I believe you will win! You have given everything to this race, and at great sacrifice. Thank you for agreeing to help our students in the FWISD! We appreciate it!

Whomever wins this seat needs to look in the schools at all the huge piles of books and materials from "new programs" that are bought with taxpayer money and just left to rot in storerooms. Why is the principal at Handley Middle not fired for violating job posting rules, creating positions for unqualified teachers, creating a "dream team" of hot young cleavage chicks who get all the best students while the other teachers are harranged over the intercom in front of students? This guy can't even write a simple sentence, yet he continues to "lead" in a school that is constantly AYP. We need board members who investigate corruption and incompetence.

I have known you what about 47 years! We moved from the eastside because of the schools. We have some good memories from our school days on the eastside. If anyone can help the schools we grew up in, you can! The kids deserve to have memories like we have. I pray you win.

You go girl! I have known you a long time and think you would be perfect for this position. Sorry I can't vote for now that I don't live in Fort Worth. All my best, JJ (your first sister-inlaw)

The children of Fort Worth could not ask for a more committed or more intelligent voice speaking on their behalf---GO TOBI!!

Give me a list and I'll make calls for you! Wow, I just realized the last time I cared enough about a candidate to do that was Ronald Reagan!

Hi Tobi, it has been a long time. I wish you all the luck in the world. If any one can make a change I believe it would be you. I know how focused and dedicated you are when it comes to something you believe in. I left the east side to make sure my children had great schools. I wish someone with your goals and dedicati...on had come along before I had to make the decission to leave. I have so much going on right now but if I get a chance I would love to help. Tell hubby and girls hi for me. Your children are lucky to have such loving and supporting parents.

I am a living example of what Tobi Jackson can do to help motivate students. As a 7th-grader in the mid 1980s, I experienced Tobi's science class at a very challenging time in my life. It not only helped me achieve my goals in other classes in school, but also later in life. She has tirelessly earned our support and sh...e will be an important asset to the FWISD! - Gene M. We need fresh ideas. Tobi, you're the girl that can bring that fresh air. I'm so happy you decided to share your "wonderful self" with our wounded school community. I'm all behind you! Whatever I can do, please call.

Tobi, who else. Non nonsense, no cheap talk, results.

Robin English said:   March 22, 2010 5:36 am PST
Tobi was my teacher in 7th grade and my coach until I graduated in 1989. Of all the teachers and coaches I've had, before or since then, Tobi made the most impact on me. She's a passionate, intelligent motivator whose fearless leadership and engaging personality bring out the best in everyone around her.

As an Eastside Business Owner of 40 years, I am thrilled to see a tenacious, go-getter stepping up to the plate and running for this seat. A 20 year incumbent should retire and hand off the torch. Tobi is a FWISD graduate, holds a master's degree, and most importantly genuinely cares for our youth, our community, and equity. Congratulations Tobi! I don't need to wait until May 8, 2010.

I can not think of a more perfect candidate for D2 on the FWISD Board. Tobi has a curious mind, an innovative spirit and the tenacity to see a difficult task through to completion. She has worked quietly behind the scenes (and sometimes not so quietly) on numerous neighborhood issues to great effect. I can only imagine what she can do for our community in an official capacity. We live in a wonderful district, yet we attract few families with children, due to problems within our schools. This has been ongoing for a decade, if not two. I look forward to seeing what Tobi can do to turn that around during her term(s). Thank you for your commitment to East Fort Worth, Tobi!

Looking forward, District 2 of the FWISD really needs a circumspect, tenacious visionary at the helm. based on personal observation, I know that you have those qualities. I am grateful that you are able and willing to apply that as a member of the Board of Trustees. Your candidacy is timely and aligned with current and future needs of our students, educators and administrators. If your past serves as prologue, you're going to be a very effective voice for District 2.

Tobi, You are a breath of fresh air in a stale twenty- year- old -reign of a room that is District 2. Time to MOVE ON. You have always been responsive and accessible for anything I needed for Eastern Hills or from the Fort Worth Parks & Rec Board. You will be a great asset to the FWISD and many join me in thinking so.
